Melissa Faye Klein - Soprano

Melissa Faye Klein is excited to be singing in her fifth season with the Metropolitan Master Chorale. Melissa has toured and performed professionally in most of the continental US as well as abroad with musical theatre and classical music. Locally she can be seen performing jazz standards, cabaret and with other choral groups including the California Philharmonic Chorale, Marina Del Rey Symphony, and Life Choir. She is a SAG-AFTRA vocalist, session singer, voice-over artist and vocal teacher. Melissa is also a Music Director for Village Arts Theatre, an after-school musical theatre program for kids (K-8).

Do you make your living as a full-time musician? Partially.

What else do you do as a "day job?" I am an engraver, bartender, jewelry designer.

Highlights of your musical career: Singing at the Ernen Musikdorf Festival in Switzerland and touring with musical theatre productions.

What are you listening to these days? Everything from Classical and Jazz to Rock and Country

What is your favorite thing about the MMC? The music that Glenn picks is so beautiful and challenging that it keeps me on my toes. The MMC family is amazing and I look forward to singing with them every week.
